What you can expect from GoLinq.me, what we expect from you, and the small number of things that would make us take a page down.
This is a plain-language summary, written so you can actually read it. It describes how GoLinq.me works today. It is not legal advice, and it does not replace advice from a lawyer about your own situation.
GoLinq.me is a service run by Prizma Digital, Kathmandu, Nepal. By making an account you accept what is on this page. If you do not, do not make one — nothing else follows.
You need to be old enough to enter into a contract where you live, and the details you give us when signing up need to be true.
A handle is the address of your page: golinq.me/yourname. You hold it for as long as your account exists, on any plan, including the free one.
Keep your password to yourself. What happens under your account is your responsibility, so tell us quickly if you think somebody else has got in.
Some words are reserved because they collide with parts of the site or with our own names. Those are never available as handles.
Most of this is what you would guess, but it is worth being specific:
If a page impersonates a real person or business, we will remove it. The same goes for a page doing any of the other things above. We would rather warn you and give you a chance to fix it, and for anything ambiguous we will; for clear impersonation, fraud or material that endangers someone, we act first and explain afterwards.
If your page has been taken down and you believe we got it wrong, write to us and a person will look again. If it was your page that got impersonated, write to us and we will move quickly.
We can also suspend an account that is abusing the service in a way that degrades it for everyone else.
Everything you put on your page — your words, your photographs, your prices, your contacts — stays yours. We do not claim ownership of any of it.
You give us only the permission we need to run the service: to store your content and to show your page to whoever visits it. That permission ends when you delete the content or the account.
GoLinq.me itself — the software, the templates, the name and the design — stays ours.
The free plan is free and does not expire. Personal Pro is paid one month or one year at a time, in advance, through eSewa, Khalti, Fonepay or a card.
Nothing renews automatically. We do not keep a card on file and we never charge you without you starting the payment, so there is no subscription to hunt for and cancel — to stop, simply do not pay again.
When a paid period ends, your account falls back to the free plan's limits. Your page stays online and nothing is deleted; the Pro-only features stop until you pay again.
Prices can change. A change never affects a period you have already paid for, and we will say so here and in the app before it applies.
If a payment went wrong on our side — taken twice, or the plan never activated — write to us and we will put it right. We do not otherwise refund a period you have already had.
We work hard to keep GoLinq.me up, fast and correct, but we do not promise that it will never go down, never lose a beat, or never have a bug. It is provided as is, without warranties of any kind.
Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. Your contacts export as a vCard or CSV at any time, and that takes a moment.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — business you did not win, a deal that fell through — and our total liability for anything connected with the service is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the problem.
We may change or discontinue parts of the service. If we ever shut something down that holds your data, we will give you notice and a way to get that data out.
You can delete your account whenever you like, from settings. It takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.
We can end an account for a serious or repeated breach of the rules above. Except where the law or somebody's safety requires otherwise, we will tell you why.
If we change these terms we will update the date at the top of the page, and for anything significant we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.
These terms are governed by the law of Nepal, and the courts of Kathmandu deal with any dispute.
